Job Opportunity: Mammography Tech
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (weekends as needed, no weekend block scheduling)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Summary
Seeking a Mammography Tech with experience in Radiology/Cardiology. This is a travel contract position requiring compliance with licensure and credentialing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- Mammography Technologist experience within the last year
- ARRT (R)(M) certification required
Work Requirements
- Weekend work as needed (no weekend block scheduling)
- Must comply with all Return to Office (RTO) restrictions at time of submission
Certifications & Compliance
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or ARC) required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required depending on assignment area
- Other certifications may be required depending on specific clinical areas (not mandatory for this role)
Background & Documentation Requirements
- Background check within 60 days of start including statewide, county, federal, and education verification
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated annually
- Sex offender search and Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry search (TN only)
- Two recent professional references required
- Skills checklist and internal evaluation if employed with agency for one year or more
Health & Immunization Requirements
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet job demands
- Fit mask test (3M N-95) within 1 year of start, must pass without limitations
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year, updated annually
- Immunizations required: Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B (proof of vaccination or positive titer)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending results accepted)
Additional Notes
- Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses glare, recent within 6 months)
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs, specific colors for other techs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
- Confidentiality acknowledgment must be signed prior to start
- All required documents must be submitted timely for clearance
