Registered Nurse (RN) - OB/GYN (Nights)

Location: Petoskey, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Join a collegial team of experienced OB/GYN providers serving a large primary service area.
Expect a steady flow of new patients.
Strict attendance policy:
- Three absences or being more than 20 minutes late three times will result in immediate termination.
- Exceptions considered for communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence.
- Policy effective starting 6/1/2024.
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs.
Patient ratio: 3:1 for OB based on acuity.

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Minimum 3+ years of OB/GYN nursing experience.
Experience with Labor & Delivery (L&D).
Comfortable with couplet care and stabilization.

Preferred Qualifications

Pediatrics experience.
ACLS certification.
Prior travel experience preferred but not required.

Additional Notes

This position is in a 202-bed regional hospital serving a broad geographic area.
The hospital emphasizes full-service care with specialties including cardiology, cancer, orthopedics, and neurosciences.
