Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Travel Assignment)

Location: Aurora, Illinois
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)

Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for delivering safe patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will provide direct patient care, guide patient/family teaching, and oversee activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards. You will communicate patient condition changes to physicians and respond quickly and accurately to clinical changes. Knowledge of EMTALA regulations and abuse reporting is required. Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality is essential.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Illinois
Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in an acute care setting
Knowledge of EMTALA regulations
PALS or ENPC certification
