Description

Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech

Location: Bristol, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule & Work Details

4x10 hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Call required: 12-14 shifts per 6 weeks
Rotating holidays observed
Required to float to a nearby facility when needed
Must live at least 100 miles from the facility

Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist with a minimum of 5 years of experience
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel assignment
RCIS certification
ACLS certification
BLS certification

Licensure

Must hold a valid license appropriate for Cath Lab Tech role (RCIS)

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked/schooled in past 7 years
Education verification required
Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry check if licensed or working in Tennessee
Drug screening: Standard 9-panel drug test within 14 days of start
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Immunizations and titers required: MMR (Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella), Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
Respirator medical evaluation and fit testing completed onsite
Annual competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
Photo for badge must be submitted within 48 hours of contract signing

Additional Notes

Candidates must complete facility-specific forms and acknowledge policies including dress code, smoking/tobacco use, contaminated sharps exposure, and influenza policy
References: Minimum 2 preferred, 3 ideal
