Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Days)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Work Schedule & Orientation

• Typical hours: 36-40 hours per week (overtime billable after 40 hours)
• Orientation sessions available regularly throughout the year

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (IA license also accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, continuous bladder irrigations (CBIs), drains, and central lines
• Medication knowledge including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban with some titration experience
• Driver’s license
• Work history/resume
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification
• Copy of required certifications
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 prior travel contract completed (preferred but not required)

Additional Notes

• Not eligible if employed by the same health system within the last 12 months
• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required

This position offers an opportunity to work in a level 1 trauma center environment with a focus on Med Surg/Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit patients during day shifts.
