Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves providing direct patient care in the Emergency Department, communicating with physicians regarding patient condition changes, and responding quickly and accurately to patient needs. The nurse will also guide patient/family teaching and oversee activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards. Knowledge of EMTALA regulations and mandatory reporting of abuse is required. Maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality is essential.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in the Emergency Department (ED)
• Emergency Department experience within the last year
