Job Opportunity: PICU Registered Nurse

Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Nurse with Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience. This is a travel contract position requiring immediate availability.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse experience: minimum 2 years, with experience within the last year required
For first-time travelers, a minimum of 3 years of PICU Registered Nurse experience is required
ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

First-time travelers without 3 years of experience are not accepted
Local candidates within 100 miles radius are not accepted
Pending licenses are not accepted; all licenses must be active and compliant
Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses glare, recent within 6 months)
Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required for onsite work during flu season (Oct 1 - Apr 30)
Background checks include statewide, county, federal, education verification, sex offender search, and Tennessee Adult Abuse Registry
Competency exams and annual updates required as applicable
