Job Opportunity: RN Medical / Surgical / Telemetry

Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 14 weeks

Job Description

• Float required.
• Must have 2+ years of recent RN experience.
• Resume must include EPIC usage for the last 12 months.
• Block schedules considered on a case-by-case basis (please specify if needed).
• Solid black scrubs required.
• ASN or BSN degree accredited by ACEN or CCNE is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required.
• Return to Office (RTO) documentation due at submission; maximum 7 days allowed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical/Telemetry RN experience, including experience within the last year
• Recent charge RN experience with demonstrated experience in charge roles
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system within the last 12 months

Additional Notes

• Candidates must submit a complete RN submission packet checklist signed by both candidate and agency.
• Candidates with breaks in service of 30 days or more must update certain verifications and tests.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
