Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry / Progressive Care Unit (PCU) (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule includes night shifts.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
• Typical workweek: 36-40 hours; overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois (IL) required; Iowa (IA) license also accepted.
• Experience with chest tubes, femstops, tracheostomies, continuous bladder irrigations (CBIs), drains, and central lines.
• Medication experience including titration with Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, Argatroban.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Work history/resume.
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year.
• License verification.
• Required certifications.
• One supervisory reference at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 prior travel nursing contract completed.

Additional Information

• Not eligible if employed by the same health system within the last 12 months.
• Shift differential and overtime pay apply (details withheld).
• Call back and on-call pay available (details withheld).
