Description

Job Opportunity: Technologist - Cath Lab (Days)

Location: Dubuque, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Work schedule: 36-40 hours per week, with overtime billable after 40 hours
  • Typical patient/scans per day: 4
  • Equipment used: Artis Zee C-arm, Impella, IABP, Acist Injector
  • Types of procedures: Peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, pacemaker procedures
  • Scrubs provided (light blue)

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 24 months of experience in Cardiac/Cath Lab
  • Prior travel experience required: Must have completed at least 1 travel contract in the past 12 months (no first-time travelers)
  • Experience with the following equipment is required:
    • Artis Zee C-Arm
    • Impella
    • Maquet IABP
    • Acist Injector
    • iFR, IVUS
  • Proficient with fluoroscopy
  • Comfortable and proficient in:
    • Peripheral and coronary angiography cases
    • PCI and pacemaker procedures
  • Licensure:
    • Iowa Radiology license required for contract (non-licensed applicants may apply but must obtain license upon offer acceptance)
    • Certification required: ARRT (CI or CV discipline) or CCI - RCIS
  • Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
  • Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Work history and skills checklist specific to Cardiac Cath discipline required
  • Professional references from the last 24 months preferred

This position is ideal for experienced Cath Lab Technologists with recent travel contract experience and specialized cardiac cath skills.
