Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Primarily responsible for operating a C-arm in the Operating Room (approximately 90% of workload).
• When not in the OR, perform general x-rays supporting Emergency Department, Inpatients, and Outpatients.
• Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:45 AM to 03:15 PM.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Member of an interdisciplinary team contributing professional and clinical knowledge in patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Illinois license and be willing to apply for an Iowa license.
• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a Technologist in this specialty.
• Prior travel experience required: at least 1 completed travel contract.
• Experience with C-arm equipment is required.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must provide work history/resume, skills checklist (completed within 1 year), license verification, required certifications, and at least 1 supervisory reference at time of submission.
• Cannot have been employed by this employer within the last 12 months.
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Additional Information

• Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly throughout the year.
• The position involves working in a Level 1 trauma center environment.
• Overtime and holiday pay multipliers apply (details not included here).
• Electronic Medical Record system used: EPIC.
