Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown (Nights)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule includes night shifts in a Stepdown/Progressive Care unit.
• Patient ratio approximately 1:4-5.
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record system required.
• Orientation sessions available on scheduled dates.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license at time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of Stepdown/Progressive Care nursing experience (24 months preferred).
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Skills checklist specific to Stepdown/Progressive Care discipline required.
• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred.

Additional Information

• First-time travel nurses are accepted; prior travel experience is not required.
• Night shift hours with potential for overtime.
• Pay multipliers apply for overtime, holidays, call back, and on-call hours.
• Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible.
