Job Details

- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift: 8-hour day shifts, typically starting around 9:30 AM
- Call: No call currently required; possible call may be needed occasionally
Job Description
- Work in a Cath Lab environment with 1 current lab, expanding to 2 labs eventually
- Case volume varies from 0 to 5-6 cases per day
- Procedures include PCIs, peripheral interventions, diagnostic caths, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filters
- Experience with balloon pumps and STEMI cases is a plus (note: STEMI cases are transferred to a nearby facility)
- Cath Lab Techs are required to scrub; RNs circulate (scrubbing not required for RNs)
- Must be able to assist in training new nurses
Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in California
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience
- Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
- ACLS Certification
- ARRT Certification
- BLS Certification
- Fluoroscopy certification/experience
- Knowledge of balloon pumps

- 50-mile radius travel rule applies
- No local rates available
- No prior travel experience explicitly required
- No call currently required, but possible call may be needed
- Provided equipment includes GE systems
