Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Unit: Medical Surgical / Telemetry
- Shift: 4x12 hour shifts, days
- Start Dates Available: May 4, May 18
- Patient Ratio: 1:12 using a team nursing model (effectively 1:6-7 with shared caseload among 2 RNs, LPN, and Med Nurse)
- On-Call: As needed
- Weekend Requirement: As needed (no block weekend schedules, but weekend blocks may be considered upon discussion)
- Locals: Not accepted (strict 100-mile radius rule)
- First-time travelers: Not accepted unless candidate has 5+ years of specialty experience
- Trauma Level: Level I Trauma Center
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Tennessee
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing, including experience within the last year
- One completed travel assignment
- Experience working with Level I Trauma patients
