Job Opportunity: Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer

Location: Jackson, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• No weekends or on-call required

Job Description

• Perform echocardiograms (ECHO) and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Must have recent experience (within the last 12 months) with Epic electronic health record system (detailed on profile)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a cardiac sonographer within the last 12 months
• Certification: Must hold CCI (RCS) or ARDMS (RDCS) credential
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Additional Requirements

• Government-issued photo ID must be carried during work hours
• Background check within 30 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in the past 7 years, including nationwide and international if applicable
• Negative drug screen (10 panel) within 30 days of start
• Immunizations and health documents required:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start
  • N95 Fit Mask test within 1 year of start (no PAPR allowed)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccinations or positive titers
  • Hepatitis B titer or vaccination series
  • Varicella vaccinations or positive titer
  • Seasonal flu vaccine during flu season (no exemptions accepted)
  • COVID vaccination or approved exemption prior to start

• No prior travel experience required for this position
