Description

Job Opportunity: RN Labor and Delivery

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Implement and monitor patient care plans.
Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition appropriately.
Coordinate care among all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Follow physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
Work requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
May be required to work up to 6 weekend shifts and holidays as needed.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

Valid RN license in Oklahoma.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Experience

Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year.

Education

Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Work Environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Coordination with multidisciplinary healthcare team.
