Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: West Bloomfield, Michigan
Contract Length: 15 weeks

Job Summary

Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care in Labor & Delivery. Utilize the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching. Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team. Participate in identifying and resolving variances from patient goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Michigan
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
  • Postpartum nursing experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
