Description

Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse

Location: Cartersville, Georgia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 6 weeks


Job Details

  • Minimum Experience Required: 2 years (hard stop)
  • Unit accepts first-time travelers
  • Weekend Schedule: Every other weekend
  • Call: None
  • Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
  • Holiday Work: If one major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it; if two, expected to work both; if three, expected to work two.
  • Major Holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
  • Compliance with all requirements is mandatory to start on time; delays may result in a 2-week pushback due to orientation scheduling
  • Orientation hours vary based on contract length (e.g., 8 hours for 8-week assignment)

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
  • Minimum of 2 years ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

  • Prior travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are accepted
  • Floating may be required within the facility as needed
  • Full compliance with all documentation and credentialing is required before start
  • Candidates must review and sign facility-specific policies such as Code of Conduct and Dress/Professional Appearance
