Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry (Nights)

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Shift: Nights
• Work Hours: 36-40 hours/week, with overtime billable after 40 hours (can work up to 48 hours/week)
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system used: EPIC
• Orientation available on multiple scheduled dates

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of previous step-down experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Work history/resume required
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year required
• License verification required
• Copy of required certifications required
• One supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome
• Will float to Emergency Department (ED) as needed
• Must be able to work nights and handle Med Surg/Telemetry patient care
• Orientation dates are provided regularly throughout the year
