Job Opportunity: Technologist - X-Ray (Nights)

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team in patient care.
• Primary workload involves operating a C-arm in the Operating Room (OR) for approximately 90% of the time.
• When not in the OR, perform general x-rays supporting Emergency Department (ED) patients, inpatients, and outpatients.
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
• Typical schedule: Monday to Friday, 06:45 AM to 03:15 PM (day shift hours noted in description, but job shift is nights).

Required Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Illinois license for the technologist discipline and be willing to apply for an Iowa license.
• Minimum of 1 year of previous technologist experience required.
• C-arm experience is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must provide:

  • Work history/resume
  • Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
  • License verification
  • Copies of required certifications
  • One supervisory reference at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.
• Not eligible if employed by this health system within the last 12 months.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract is preferred.

Additional Information

• Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly throughout the year.
• Overtime is billable after 40 hours per week.
• The facility is a Level 2 trauma center.
• The role includes working with multiple trauma centers in the region (Levels 1, 3, and 4 nearby).
• The position requires flexibility to float within the discipline across local campuses.
