Location: Pensacola, Florida
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Holiday Coverage: Memorial Day, July 4th

Job Description

• Provide respiratory therapy services as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Work primarily night shifts with a 12-hour schedule.
• Must be available for every other weekend and specified holiday coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Florida.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

• Submission of professional resume/profile and at least two professional references prior to assignment.
• Completion of core competencies including HIPAA, Joint Commission, OSHA, and specialty-specific skills checklist.
• Criminal background check including social security trace, OIG search, and national sex offender registry within 30 days of assignment start.
• Employment and education verifications completed within 90 days of start.
• Signed assignment agreement and onboarding education attestation.
• Recent badge photo (headshot with white or blue background, no filters).
• Confirmation of assignment documentation on agency letterhead with accurate start and end dates.
• Annual updates and re-verifications required if assignment is extended or if there is a break in service longer than 90 days.
