Job Opportunity: RN Step Down

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Work on a unit with the greatest need, which may be Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, or Telemetry Acute Care.
Must have skills to float within the assigned unit or to other sites within a 40-mile radius as needed.
Accepts candidates with experience in Med-Surg or Stepdown nursing; credentialing is the same for both.

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Experience in an Acute Care setting
Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience
