Job Description

• Seeking an experienced evening shift Emergency Department (ED) nurse.
• Work in a 48 treatment space ED.
• Patient ratio approximately 1:5.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• Specialty: RN Emergency Room
• Required years of experience: Not explicitly stated, assume minimum 1+ year ED nursing experience (default to typical for specialty).

• Current, valid RN license for New York.

• Fit Test: Annual requirement with approved mask models.
• Hepatitis B: Positive antibody titer, 3 vaccine series, or specific declination form.
• Influenza vaccine or specific declination form (mask required if declined).
• TB Test: Annual requirement with specific testing protocols.
• Varicella: Positive IgG titer or 2 vaccine series required.
• Tdap: Preferred within last 10 years or specific declination form.
• Physical/Health Statement: Completed within last 12 months, including vitals and vision test.
• Agency Drug Screen: 9+ panel drug screen within 30 days of start.
• Agency Background Check: Comprehensive background check within 30 days of start.

Documentation & Verification

• Driver’s License or State ID (valid, unexpired).
• Resume covering last 7 years of employment and education.
• Two professional references (one within last 12 months, one within last 3 years).
• Employment verification (agency verification required for travelers).
• Education verification (initial degree in nursing field).
• Signed job description.
• Various Arnot Health forms and acknowledgments (personal information, code of conduct, sexual harassment acknowledgment, parking registration, etc.).
• 7 Instant Background Checks (including NYOMIG, OFAC, OIG, NSO, SAM, and state registries).

• Must be able to work evening shifts.
• Patient ratio is approximately 1 nurse to 5 patients.
• Compliance with all credentialing and onboarding requirements is mandatory prior to start.
