Description

Job Opportunity: ICU Registered Nurse

Location: Ontario, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract (Part-Time)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

  • Part-time ICU nursing position with a requirement to float to other ICU campuses if census drops to maintain hours.
  • Every Other Week (EOW) schedule required.
  • Time off requests limited to no more than 7 days; missed shifts must be made up or coverage found. On-call return within 1 hour if placed on-call.
  • Typical staffing ratio: 3 patients to 1 nurse.
  • Knowledge of medication scanning required.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Ohio
  • Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including experience within the last year
  • One completed travel assignment
  • ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting
