Location

Schedule
- Day shift, 5 days per week (5x8 hour shifts)
- Hours: 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 40 hours per week
- Work includes 1-2 weekdays and every few weekends

Required Experience
- Minimum 2.5 years of RN experience
Prior Travel Experience
- First-time travelers accepted (no prior travel experience required)
Required Licenses and Certifications
- New Mexico RN license or Compact license (pending licenses not accepted)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA or RQI acceptable
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA or RQI acceptable
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred for OR (required for some other specialties)
Additional Certifications (Preferred/As Applicable)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred for ER RNs
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required for L&D and RRT (not mandatory here)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) required for Labor and Delivery (not mandatory here)
- NIH Stroke Certification preferred for ICU and Tele (not mandatory here)

- Surgical specialties include general, ortho, ortho/total joints, endo/laparoscopic, GYN, ophthalmology, podiatry
Required Documentation and Compliance
- Government-issued photo ID (must be carried during hours of service)
- Background check: 7-year criminal history, education verification, fingerprinting (NM state requirement), EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG checks
- Education verification: transcript or diploma (unofficial acceptable)
- NURSYS verification as applicable
- Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands (initial only)
- Fit-tested N95 mask or equivalent required (PAPR acceptable for bearded candidates)
- Immunizations/vaccinations or titers required:
- Tdap (declinations accepted)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella: positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster preferred if low/equivocal)
- Hepatitis B: titer, vaccine series, or declination
- Varicella: positive titer or 2 vaccines (booster preferred if low/equivocal)
- Drug screening: 10-panel including THC within last 12 months; second drug test with alcohol screening at orientation
- Influenza vaccine strongly encouraged; declination accepted with mask requirement during flu season
References and Evaluations
- Proof of 2 clinical references (hospital evaluations accepted)
- Performance evaluations required if previously employed over 1 year
- Internal evaluations required if previously employed over 2 years
- Complete employment application/resume required
- Skills checklist must be updated annually for applicable units

- Pending licenses not accepted
- Photo for badge must be passport-style, no filters, no facial piercings
- Candidates must review and sign various facility-specific policies and agreements (e.g., confidentiality, code of conduct, compliance, drug-free workplace, harassment policy)
- New hires complete education at the facility's designated building
This position offers an opportunity to work in a small critical access hospital with a variety of surgical specialties in a supportive environment.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 2.5 years of Operating Room (OR) Circulate experience
- OR Circulate experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Experience in Orthopedics
- Experience in Endoscopy
- Experience in OB/GYN
- Experience in Ophthalmology
