Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse – Observation Unit

Location

  • Vero Beach, Florida

Employment Type

  • Travel/Contract

Contract Length

  • 26 weeks (fixed, not flexible)

Work Schedule

  • Day shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Unit Description

  • Clinical Decision Unit (Observation Unit)
  • Short Term Acute Care facility
  • Teaching hospital
  • Total staffed beds: 332
  • Charting system: EPIC
  • Scrub color: White
  • Free parking available in unrestricted spaces

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida (pending licenses not accepted)
  • Minimum 1.5 years of Direct Observation Unit (DOU) experience, including experience within the last year
  • Telemetry experience
  • Acute Care experience
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • Current ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
