Physical Therapist (PT) - Temp (Days)

Location: Fort Dodge, Iowa
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide professional and clinical care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.
• Work schedule: 4 days per week in outpatient clinic, 1 day per week in acute care.
• Potential to work 1-2 acute care weekends during the contract (Saturday 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, Sunday 7:00 AM–11:00 AM) to support the permanent team.
• Patient focus includes orthopedic, neurological, and safety discharge patients.
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record system required.
• Must be located more than 60 miles from the facility (local candidates not allowed).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of current Physical Therapist experience (work history must show 24 months).
• At least 1 year of previous PT experience required.
• Outpatient experience required; inpatient experience preferred.
• EPIC experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Current BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Skills checklist specific to Physical Therapist discipline required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract preferred.
• Professional references or performance evaluations within the last 24 months preferred.

Shift Details

• Dayshift, 8 hours per day.
• Orientation held weekly on Mondays.

Additional Notes

• Traveler may be asked to float within the discipline across local campuses.
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).
• On-call availability on weekends as noted above is optional but appreciated.
