Job Opportunity: RN Medical / Surgical

Location: Mequon, Wisconsin
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (Night Shift)
• Specialty: Medical/Surgical Nursing with Telemetry background (must be able to read telemetry)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must be willing to float within skill set either onsite or to other sites within 40 miles if needed
• Nail policy: No artificial or acrylic nails; natural nails must be short (< 1/4 inch)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience with Telemetry, including experience within the last year
• Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

• Onboarding includes completion of required education attestations and pre-hire modules
• Must provide a forward-facing badge photo with white or blue background (no filters or alterations)
• Health statement or physical exam confirming good health required prior to first assignment and updated annually
• Must comply with all facility policies and procedures

This position is ideal for experienced Medical/Surgical RNs with telemetry skills who have prior travel nursing experience and are comfortable working night shifts and floating as needed.
