Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Newton, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 06:30 AM – 07:00 PM, every weekend, no holidays

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Weekend shifts only, no holiday work required.

Required Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.

Education

• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year.

Additional Notes

• All licenses and certifications must be verified with scanned copies showing expiration dates.
• License verification must be dated within 30 days of start.
• Drug screen must be completed and resulted before start with Medical Review Officer (MRO) signature.
• All required documentation must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.
• No prior travel experience is required for this assignment.
