MRI Technologist
Location: Muskegon, Michigan
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM (plus up to every other weekend)
Job Summary
Perform MRI technologist duties during the specified shift.
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Must have current, valid MRI Technologist license/certification with online verification dated within 30 days of start
- COVID-19 vaccine proof including September 2025 booster, or approved exemption/declination (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report
- Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start; titers not accepted
- Influenza vaccine is optional but recommended
- Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report
- Tdap: Current, non-expired vaccine required; declination accepted if no pediatric interaction
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (within last year for Michigan)
- Physical/Health Statement: Documentation from exam within last year confirming fitness to work
- Respirator Evaluation with physician signature required (on-site completion for Muskegon location)
- Color Vision test required
- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (preferred within 14 days), must be negative and include MRO signature; no THC allowed
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) checks dated within 30 days
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days; Michigan requires additional statewide check
- Signed Confidentiality, Conflict of Interest, Code of Conduct, Integrity and Audit Services forms
- Standard I9 verification completed by agency
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
- Skills checklist provided and completed by agency for clinical contractors
- Fit Test required for Iowa locations (1860 mask only) – note this may not apply to Michigan
Additional Information
- Must complete and upload all required documentation and forms into the credentialing system prior to or at onboarding.
- System access form must be completed and uploaded one week before start.
- This is a clinical role requiring direct patient care.
