Job Details
- Position: MRI Technician
- Location: Muskegon, Michigan
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, including up to every other weekend (EOW)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Required Qualifications
- MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Valid license/certification verification dated within 30 days of start
- COVID-19 vaccine proof including booster by September 2025, or approved declination/exemption (declination not accepted in CA or IL)
- MMR: Proof of 2 vaccinations or IgG titer lab report
- Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start (1st shot before start, 2nd shot 30 days later, 3rd shot 6 months later); titers not accepted
- Influenza vaccine is optional but recommended (proof or declination/exemption accepted except in CA or IL)
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) with chest x-ray if positive TB (within 1 year for Michigan)
- Varicella: Proof of 1 vaccination or IgG titer lab report
- Tdap vaccine (current, non-expired); declination accepted if no pediatric interaction
- Physical/Health Statement confirming fitness to work within last year
- Respirator evaluation with physician signature (on-site completion for Muskegon location)
- Color vision test
- 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (including methadone, phencyclidine, benzodiazepines, cocaine, propoxyphene, amphetamines, opiates, 6-acetyl morphine, methaqualone, barbiturates); no THC allowed
- Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start
- Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED
- EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) check dated within 30 days
- OIG (Office of Inspector General) exclusion check dated within 30 days
- NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days, including statewide check for Michigan
- Signed confidentiality, conflict of interest, code of conduct, integrity and audit services forms
- Standard I-9 completed by agency
- Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year
- Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors
Additional Notes
- Must provide a professional profile including resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references at submission
- System access form must be completed and uploaded one week before start
- Fit testing required for respirator use (specific mask type for Iowa only, but respirator evaluation required here)
This position is suitable for MRI Technologists who meet the certification and health requirements and are available for a 13-week long-term assignment with early morning to late afternoon shifts including some weekends.
