Job Details

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Location: Must be able to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed
• Work Schedule: Every Other Week (EOW) and Every Other Holiday (EOH)

Requirements/Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Wisconsin
• Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• One completed travel nursing assignment
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system

Onboarding & Documentation Requirements

• Submission of professional resume/profile and at least two professional references prior to assignment
• Completion of criminal background check including Social Security Trace, OIG Search, National Sex Offender Registry, and other required screenings within 30 days prior to start; updated annually or after break in service >90 days
• Employment verification for the past seven years, updated annually or after break in service >90 days
• Education verification relevant to clinical work within 90 days prior to start; official transcripts required if verification fails
• Completion of onboarding requirements including:

  • Signed assignment agreement
  • Badge photo (forward-facing headshot with white or blue background, no alterations)
  • Specialty skills checklist (updated annually)
  • Nursing contract worker onboarding (completed onsite)
  • Pre-hire modules including Nova StatStrip
  • Education attestation after pre-hire training
  • Confirmation of assignment documentation upon initial assignment and extensions
• Annual NIH certification updates as required

This position is ideal for experienced Medical/Surgical RNs with telemetry skills, EPIC proficiency, and prior travel nursing experience, seeking a long-term assignment with a night shift schedule in the Milwaukee area.
