Job Description

• Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Orthopedics, Medical/Surgical, and Telemetry care.
• Provide direct patient care on a day shift schedule.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Onboarding and Compliance Requirements

Health and Immunizations

• COVID-19 vaccine proof required, including booster by September 2025 (declination or exemption accepted with agency letterhead except for CA or IL).
• MMR: Proof of two vaccinations or IgG titer lab report required.
• Hepatitis B: Must have started vaccination series prior to start date; titers not accepted.
• Varicella: Proof of one vaccination or IgG titer lab report required.
• Influenza vaccine is optional but recommended (proof or declination accepted except for CA or IL).
• Tuberculosis screening: 2-step PPD or IGRA test required; positive TB requires chest x-ray within last year (for certain states) or within 5 years otherwise.
• Fit test for respiratory protection required (specific to some states).
• Physical/Health statement confirming fitness to work within the last year.

Drug Screening

• 10-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start (preferred within 14 days), must include specific substances; no THC allowed.

Background and Professional Checks

• Federal, nationwide, and county criminal background check covering last 7 years, including SSN verification, dated within 30 days of start.
• Education verification of highest academic degree or diploma/GED.
• EPLS (Excluded Parties List System) and OIG (Office of Inspector General) checks dated within 30 days.
• NSO (National Sex Offender) check dated within 30 days; includes statewide check for Michigan.
• Conflict of Interest Disclosure and Confidentiality Agreements signed and on file.
• Code of Conduct form signed and on file.
• Integrity and Audit Services form signed shortly before start.
• Standard I9 form completed by agency.
• System Access form completed and uploaded one week before start.

Competency and Skills

• Skills checklist provided by agency for clinical contractors.
• Specialty-specific competency testing completed within the last year.
• Core exam (Joint Commission testing) completed within the last year.
• Color vision test required.

Summary

This is a 13-week long-term RN assignment in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry on a day shift in Grove City, Ohio. Candidates must hold a current Ohio RN license, have BLS and ACLS certifications, and meet comprehensive health, immunization, drug screening, and background check requirements. Specialty competency and skills verification are mandatory prior to start. Prior travel experience is not required.
