Description

Registered Nurse - Orthopedics

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM


Job Summary

  • Provide direct nursing care following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans; observe, record, and communicate patient conditions.
  • Coordinate care across multiple disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
  • Work independently with critical thinking and decisive judgment in a stressful environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment following standard precautions.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Orthopedics experience, including Orthopedic Surgery, within the last year.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

  • Flu season mask policy applies if influenza vaccine is declined.
  • Personal protective equipment use is mandatory.
  • Must be able to work night shifts and handle stressful situations with minimal supervision.

This position is ideal for experienced orthopedic RNs seeking a long-term assignment with comprehensive onboarding and credentialing requirements.
