Job Summary

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and patient/family teaching.
• Communicate pertinent patient and family information effectively to the healthcare team.
• Participate in identifying and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.

Work Schedule

• Shift options: 6am-2:30pm, 6am-4:30pm, or 6am-6:30pm.
• Scheduling options include five 8-hour shifts, four 10-hour shifts, or three 12-hour shifts, all starting at 6am.
• Block schedule with on-call requirement: 48 hours of call per six-week schedule.
• Must be available for on-call duty one weekend per month.
• Typical workweek: 40 hours.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan.
• CVOR experience within the last year, with a minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Operating Room (OR) experience.
• Cardiac scrub experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
