- 4x10 hour shifts (40 hours per week)
- Rotating day off per week
- Call as needed
Job Summary
- Entry-level position working under immediate to general supervision of a mentor/preceptor.
- Provides specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients.
- Supports medical staff in diagnosis, care, treatment, and surveillance of simple to complex conditions.
- Works in various care settings including acute inpatient, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote outreach clinics.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
- Use specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures.
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to ensure documentation and technical quality meet protocols and accreditation standards.
- Transfer images and data to archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
- Perform operator-level quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Maintain accurate records and exercise discretion with confidential information.
- Work independently with attention to detail and remain calm under stress.
Required Skills & Experience
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Oklahoma
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, with experience within the last year
- Certification by ARDMS or CCI
- ARRT certifications in Cardiac Interventional Radiography, Radiography, and Vascular Interventional Radiography
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- No prior travel experience required; candidates without travel experience will be considered
