Registered Nurse - Progressive Care

Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Float Pool RN position covering all Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) floors with a cardiac patient population.
• Patient ratio typically 1:3-4.
• Care for patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, post-cardiac surgery (CTS), chest pain (C/P).
• Administer cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.
• May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same unit with lower acuity patients.
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Georgia
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a similar-sized facility
• Minimum 2 years of float experience, including float experience within the last year
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
