Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery

Location: Woonsocket, Rhode Island
Contract Length: 7 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
On Call: Required

Job Description

• Operating Room (OR) RN with at least 2 years recent experience in surgery.
• Must have experience with C-Sections and robotic surgery.
• Preferred education: BSN.
• This is a Long-Term Assignment (LTA).

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Rhode Island
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• Current BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Current ACLS certification issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Onboarding & Compliance Requirements

• Submission of a single PDF including:

  • Cover sheet
  • Resume
  • Skills checklist
  • Two professional references
  • License and certification documentation
  • Nursys report (license verification within 30 days)
• Must have a valid Driver’s License, State ID, or Passport.
• Drug screening: Minimum 10-panel test including THC (within 60 days of start).
• Annual color-blind test.
• Completion of agency attestation and background checks.
• Verification of education and professional license.
• Completion of required exams with a minimum score of 80%:

  • Basic Pharmacology Exam
  • Basic Rhythm Interpretation Screening
  • Core Competencies Exam
  • Specialty Exam
• Completion of workplace violence prevention training.
• Annual respirator fit test.
• Proof of immunizations or immunity for:

  • COVID-19 (2 vaccines plus booster or declination)
  • MMR (2 vaccines or positive titer)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Tdap (declinations not accepted)
  • TB test within one year of start date
• Annual physical/health statement confirming clearance to work.
• National criminal background check within one year of start date.
