Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR)
Location: Waterloo, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule & Work Details
- Weekend shifts: every 4th to 5th weekend
- Full-time equivalent (FTE) 0.9 to 1.0
- Shift hours:
- 36-hour week: 09:00 - 18:30
- 40-hour week: 08:00 - 18:30
- Holiday call rotation required
- Weeknight on-call approximately every 1-2 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Minimum of 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, with OR experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

- Resume, skills checklist (within one year), and two professional references required for submission
- All certifications and licenses must be uploaded as scanned copies with expiration dates visible (front and back of cards where applicable)
- Specialty competency exam must be attached and current within one year
- Prior travel experience is not specified as required for this position
