Job Details

• Specialty: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN)

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Days
• Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Pre-scheduled shifts with some flexibility for self-scheduling
• Weekend Requirement: None
• Holiday Requirement: On call as needed, primarily for 3-day holiday weekends
• Orientation: Department-specific orientation provided
• Scrubs: Blue scrubs provided

Department & Duties

• Department has 2 imaging rooms/scanners
• Common procedures: Placement of lines, tubes, and drains
• RN duties include pre-, intra-, and post-procedural patient monitoring
• Average number of procedures per day: 4-6
• Use of EMR/PACS systems: EPIC and Change (McKesson) PACS
• Equipment: Siemens and GE imaging systems
• Radiologist available in-house
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs) on staff
• IV starts required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Washington
• Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Prior Interventional Radiology work experience

• Minimal call required, mostly on holidays with 3-day weekends
