Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery (L&D)
Location: Lapeer, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 12
Job Description
- Provide comprehensive care to expectant mothers during pregnancy (antepartum), labor and delivery (intrapartum), and the immediate postpartum period.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vital signs.
- Assist physicians and midwives with deliveries.
- Manage complications during labor and delivery.
- Educate families on newborn care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- AWHONN IFM (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses Inpatient Fetal Monitoring) certification.
Additional Information
- Night shift with 12-hour shifts.
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Local travel policy applies for candidates living within 35 miles of the facility.
