Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Job Description

• Must have 2+ years of recent Med/Surg experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only, AHA RQI acceptable) required at submission.
• Epic experience within the last year is mandatory.
• Float required.
• No block schedules allowed; no time off (RTO) during the first two weeks of assignment.
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed during the entire assignment.
• Solid black scrubs required.
• Accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio.
• Telemetry experience: minimum 2 years, including experience within the last year.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Experience with Epic within the last year.

Additional Information

• COVID-19 vaccination is strongly encouraged; medical or religious exemptions considered case-by-case.
• Influenza vaccine required October through April; exemptions require agency approval.
• Travelers continuously on assignment without breaks are not required to update physicals or background checks annually.
• All required documentation must be current and compliant with specified timelines.
• No prior travel experience explicitly required.

This position is ideal for experienced telemetry RNs with strong Med/Surg backgrounds and recent Epic system experience, seeking a structured long-term assignment with defined shift hours and strict scheduling policies.
