Description

Registered Nurse – Telemetry I

Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM


Job Description

  • Must hold a nursing degree accredited by ACEN or CCNE.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA only, AHA RQI acceptable) are required at submission.
  • Float pool experience required.
  • Recent Epic experience within the last year is mandatory.
  • Resume Time Off (RTO) allowed up to 7 days maximum; no RTO allowed during the first two weeks of the assignment.
  • No block-scheduling requests accepted.
  • Solid black scrubs required.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Ohio.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
  • Minimum of 2 years telemetry nursing experience, including telemetry experience within the last year.
  • Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Float pool experience.
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
