Registered Nurse – Telemetry I
Location: Akron, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (13 weeks)
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Job Overview
- Must hold an accredited nursing degree from ACEN or CCNE.
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only, AHA RQI acceptable).
- Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays.
- Solid black scrubs required.
- Resume must document Epic system usage within the past 12 months for each job.
- Return to Office (RTO) restrictions: no RTO during first two weeks; maximum 7 days allowed; no RTO accepted after submission. Block schedules considered case-by-case.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse license in Ohio, verifiable within 30 days prior to start.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
- Experience in Charge nurse roles.
- Recent experience in drawing blood.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification completed through approved platforms.
- Experience with Epic electronic health record system within the past 12 months.
