Job Summary

• Implement patient rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, function, and strength.
• Evaluate and treat patients for physical therapy and rehabilitation.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in all aspects of patient care.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) for evaluations, reports, and discharge summaries.
• Communicate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow up on prescriptions, test results, and authorizations.
• Participate in business marketing and referral processes as needed.
• Follow HIPAA policies and procedures to protect patient privacy.
• Comply with OSHA, federal, and state regulations.

Work Environment

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic/rehabilitation setting.
• Requires physical mobility including sitting, walking, standing for 8-10 hour days.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist patients with mobility and transfers.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in California.
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy
• Experience in Supervisory roles

Preferred Qualifications

• Continuing education courses in Physical Therapy.

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking, sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving.
• Ability to push wheelchairs and support patient safety continuously.

• No travel required for this position.
