Description

ICU Registered Nurse (All Shifts) – Arizona, Tuba City

Position Type

  • Contract assignment
  • 13-week duration

Work Setting

  • Primarily assigned to a 5-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
  • May float to Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, or Pediatrics units as needed due to census fluctuations
  • Provides nursing care to critically ill patients of all ages, including post-operative recovery for general surgery, pediatric, and OB patients after hours

Schedule

  • All shifts available
  • 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of ICU nursing experience, including ICU experience within the last year

Education

  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Licensure

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona

Certifications (must be maintained throughout employment)

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

  • Shared contractor housing provided (no pets or family allowed)
  • Orientation sessions held every 2 weeks
  • COVID and flu vaccination exemptions may be accepted upon submission of a declination form
  • Housing application must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to assignment start date

  • Located in a culturally rich, diverse community serving Navajo, Hopi, Southern Paiute tribes, and other ethnic groups
  • Semi-desert landscape with elevations ranging from 4,400 to nearly 7,000 feet
  • Hospital serves a large rural area with comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services including emergency, surgical, dental, ophthalmology, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and urology
