Description

Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - CVICU

Location: Vero Beach, Florida
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each; 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

  • Provide nursing care for fresh open heart surgery patients.
  • Work specifically in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) during day shifts.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Florida
  • Minimum 1.5 years of CVICU experience, including experience within the last year
  • BLS certification issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • ACLS certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
  • Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record system
