- Elmira, New York

- Long-Term Assignment (approximately 13 weeks)
Job Description
- Registered Nurse with mandatory telemetry experience.
- Cardiovascular experience required.
- Responsible for performing stress testing including:
- Plain treadmill stress test
- Nuclear stress test
- Stress echocardiogram
- Cardiologists and Nuclear Med Techs are onsite to assist and read studies.
- RN must learn and implement stress testing protocols.
- Duties include starting IVs and administering Definity contrast.
- Work schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 07:30 AM to 4:00 PM
- Saturday call shift from 07:00 AM to 11:00 AM for inpatient studies alongside echo tech.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 5 years of Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing experience, with at least some experience within the last year.
- Cardiology experience.
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
