Registered Nurse (RN) - Stress Testing
Location: Elmira, New York
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Description
- Must have Telemetry experience and be able to read EKG strips.
- Responsible for starting IVs and pushing Definity contrast for echocardiograms.
- Perform all stress testing including plain treadmill, nuclear stress, and stress echocardiogram.
- Follow protocol-driven stress testing procedures.
- Cardiologists are available for dobutamine stress echocardiogram and patient concerns.
- Cardiology experience required.
Required Qualifications
Licensure
- Valid RN license in New York.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
- Cardiology experience.
Education
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Certifications
- ACLS certification.
- BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
- Must be able to follow protocols and work collaboratively with cardiologists.
- Stress testing is a key responsibility, including treadmill, nuclear, and echocardiogram stress tests.
