Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: DeWitt, Iowa
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Work Days: Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (including July 4th holiday)

Job Description

• Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department setting.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department (ED) experience, with recent ED experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) certificate
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification

• License and certification verifications must be dated within 30 days of assignment start.
• All required documents and certifications must be uploaded to the credentialing system prior to onboarding.

This position requires a highly qualified RN with emergency room experience, current certifications, and compliance with extensive background and health screening protocols. The role involves weekend shifts and holiday coverage.
